Louk Box teaches:
Culture & Science Studies, Cultuur en Wetenschapstudies,
CWS.
This is a regular, four-year master's degree (in Dutch: doctoraal programma)
offered by the Faculty
of Arts and Culture. Within this program, he is co-responsible for
the interdisciplinary course
Globalization
and Inequality (with Dr.Chris Leonards). The larger part of his time
is devoted to supervising students' theses research and internships in the
Tropics.
European Programme on Society, Science and Technology.
ESST is a one-year, full-time international
master's degree in Science, Technology and Society. It is offered by the
Association of European Universities, currently comprising 14 universities
in 11 countries. Louk Box initiated the specialization on Bridging the Technology Divide
(since 2002) and also coordinates the program.
UNU offers 6-week courses for young professionals at its Headquarters in Tokyo. Louk Box has been associated with the course on International Cooperation ever since it started in 2001. He is responsible for the introductory module. In addition Louk Box teaches regularly at the University of Amsterdam's Institute for Development Research INDRA (Course on Globalization) and in Nijmegen University's Post Graduate Program on Development Studies.
